Konzept

The guest house is located in the small village of Vandans in the valley entrance of the Montafon region. It lies quietly on the edge of the forest, where numerous hiking and cycling paths lead along. For a long time, it was run as a 3-star hotel which is why it provides a good standard and equipment.

Verpflegung

Your meals will be taken care of in the best way! Our chef on site will provide you with a rich breakfast buffet and a delicious 2-3 course evening meal. By arrangement, the house can also be booked with half board with packed lunch or with full board, including a warm lunch. Of course, we have some menu suggestions in stock, but we are also happy to consider individual group wishes.

In Vandans you will find everything you need for your holidays there. Right below the Rätikonstraße there is a supermarket. You can reach it from our group accommodation Klein Tirol in a few minutes on foot. Near the supermarket you will also find a bank where you can withdraw money.

If you need a pharmacy, you can find one in the centre of Schruns. The village is about 5 km away from Vandans.If you have serious injuries, you will find the nearest hospital in Bludenz, about 10 km from Vandans.

Vandans has a lot to offer. From action to relaxation, there is definitely something for everyone!

As a group, for example, it would be a good idea to rent a football pitch. The Schruns football pitch would be suitable for this.

Children can also let off steam to the fullest. There are several playgrounds in Schruns, which are all very well equipped and offer everything a child could wish for.

Sportive activities on site 

From Vandans you can easily start your hiking tour. Whether it's a relaxed walk or challenging routes, everyone will find the perfect path for themselves. The hike to the Venser Bild chapel is particularly popular among children and adults alike. This is a cultural and historical monument and absolutely worth visiting. On the way there you can admire the beautiful landscape. If you are looking for a little challenge while hiking, choose, for example, the gorge path round the Bürser Gorge. The starting point of the tour is in Bürserberg, which is easily accessible by public transport starting from Vandans. Enjoy the two and a half hour tour through breathtaking mountain scenery.

Bikers can also roll into the adventure directly from Vandans. Take off on the popular Wasserstubental Tour. This one leads you round the Montafon and takes about 5 hours. Power yourself up and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Several huts along the way invite you to take a break.

The Alpine Coaster at Golm promises pure adrenalin. Here you can race down the 2,600 m long track at a speed of 40 km/h. The Flying Fox at Golm also takes you high up in the air. At a height of 50 m, you can reach speeds of up to 70 km/h on the steel cable, so action is guaranteed for everyone!

Activities to relax 

If you want to take a relaxing break in between all the action, Vandans is the perfect place to do so. Enjoy your time in the Rätikonbad in Vandans. Here you can relax in the steam baths or admire the beautiful mountain scenery from the outdoor pool.

In addition, there are many restaurants in the village of Vandans where you can indulge in culinary delights.

With the variety of offerings in the Montafon, there is certainly something for everybody. But an absolute must-do in the region is certainly a detour to one of the rustic huts where you can enjoy culinary delights.

Leisure activities

Hiking 

There are over 1000 km of hiking trails with spectacular mountain panoramas where everyone can find a suitable route. From relaxed walks to sporty climbing routes, there are no limits to your possibilities. Especially the mountain Golm offers a huge number of hiking routes.

Biking

For the mountain bike fans amongst you, the Montafon also has a lot to discover. With 260 km of trails you can expect pure action! But more leisurely tours are also possible. For the downhill fans the Bikepark Brandnertal is exactly the right place, numerous trails provide an extra dose of adrenalin in your blood.

Water

Lake Lünersee lies at an altitude of around 1,970 metres and is also known as the jewel of the Rätikon. With its crystal-clear, turquoise-blue water, the lush green of the meadows and the rock face of the Schesaplana, it creates a unique panorama. In addition, the Rätikonbad in Vandans invites you to spend a relaxing day at the spa.
