The group house Steinachhof, built in a sunny hillside location, is situated between Saalbach and Hinterglemm. Several hiking and biking trails pass directly by the house and the bus stop, which is part of the route connecting booth district, is also next to the accommodation. The district centers of Saalbach and Hinterglemm are each only two kilometres away. Our Steinachhof has several cozy, multifunctional lounges and a large outdoor area in front of the house, which can be used in a variety of ways.

Ausstattung

The wonderful large outdoor area offers the opportunity to do different kinds of acitivites and features great spots for relaxing. Have a refreshing drink and enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama. The soccer pitch is the right place for exciting tournaments. When arranged in advance, guests of our accommodation Lederer can use the sports field for free. The fireplace at the house is suitable to enjoy long evenings around the campfire and to prepare bread on a stick and marshmallows in a great atmosphere.

The house offers you a variety of possibilities to do indoor activities as well. Use one of the five dining and recreation rooms to enjoy fascinating board games or the game room with foosball and table tennis as well as the large multi-purpose room with a stage and music system, which makes this room ideal to have an unforgettable party.

The accommodation is not barrier-free.

Saalbach-Hinterglemm

In the middle of the Kitzbühel Alps in the Salzburger Land is the alpine village Saalbach, which together with Hinterglemm is a popular destination for skiing holidays. In summer the village shows its more peaceful side, but there is still a lot to experience. In Saalbach even action fanatics will find just the right thing for a successful stay in summer.

Party

In Saalbach you will find everything you need for your stay. A supermarket is located directly at the end of the street of our group accomodation Lederer and is reachable on foot. There is also a Raffeisenbank in the village, it is about 1 km away from the house.

Right next to the bank you will find the Alpenapotheke Saalbach, a pharmacy that can be the first point of contact for minor complaints. For more urgent emergencies it is best to visit a hospital. The nearest one is the Tauernklinikum in Zell am See, 20 km away from Saalbach.

Freizeitangebot

Saalbach has a lot to offer in summer. For action as well as for pure relaxation you will find numerous offerings here.

As a group you have the possibility to reserve a sports field in Saalbach, for example for teambuilding activities. A suitable place for this would be the football pitch in Saalbach. It can be reached from Haus Lederer in about 5 minutes by car.

Children can let off steam in the family park in Hinterglemm. Everything a child's heart desires is available here. The playground is about 2 km away from our accommodation Lederer.

Sportive activities on site

An absolute must-do for every hiking enthusiast who likes to walk more demanding routes is the tour "The 7 Summits of Saalbach-Hinterglemm". Follow a hiking trail through the Glemmtal and marvel at the beautiful surrounding landscape. But also leisurely rounds can be found starting from Saalbach. Set off for a leisurely hike on the Zwölferkogel round trail. Start your three and a half hour hike with the ride up with the Zwölferkogel cable car to the middle station. At the top you start your tour. Enjoy the time in the middle of the fantastic mountain scenery.

From Saalbach you also have the possibility to start into the mountains quickly by mountain bike. The Hacklberg Trail, for example, is particularly popular among bikers. This family-friendly route starts at the Schattberg West summit and takes you to the middle station with fantastic views. The valley station of the Westgipfel cable car is in Hinterglemm.

The adrenaline rush is provided by the world's first Jump & Slide Park. Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery you will find an eight meter high Jump Tower, a trampoline area and a freestyle ramp. Fun is guaranteed for sure.

In the sports centre Hinterglemm there are even more activities available for you. For example, you can really power up with a round of tennis or visit the playground next to the centre with your kids. Here you will also find a climbing tower with different levels of difficulty.

Activities to relax

The open-air swimming pool complex Käpt'n Hook offers you a unique bathing area. Here you can cool off perfectly and enjoy the time. Let yourself float in the white-water channel or enjoy the fantastic view from the whirl benches.

Those who prefer to relax in the dry can make themselves comfortable in the many mountain huts for sunbathing. In the village of Saalbach some restaurants invite you to enjoy culinary specialities. The many bars are perfect for spending the evening with delicious drinks.

The experienced and fit mountain hikers amongst you will enjoy the tour "The 7 Summits of Saalbach-Hinterglemm". Almost 24 km of hiking trails await you on this hike, which leads over the highest mountains of the Glemmtal. Enjoy the tour and be impressed by the breathtaking mountain scenery.

Biking

Saalbach is the perfect summer destination, especially for mountain bikers. Whether you are a pleasure rider, speed or altitude junkie: the right downhill run is waiting for each and every one of you. The Hacklberg Trail is considered the epitome of a flowing single trail and promises an airtime guarantee. But the X-Line powered by CONTI also gets the adrenalin of a freerider racing. Over 70 km of trails and lines are available for daring downhillers and enduro bikers.

But there is also plenty on offer for beginners. There are more than 400 km of trails and easy bike tours in the region. In addition, 9 mountain railways take you up to 7 mountains in Austria's largest bike region.

Water

The Saalbach-Hinterglemm region has a lot to offer for water lovers as well. You can not only enjoy the cool water in the crystal clear mountain lakes or in the free adventure bath. You can also let off steam at the Zeller See by sailing or taking a boat trip.

Those who like to combine the element water with action can take part in wildwater tours. Canyoning and rafting tours are also sure to provide you with an unforgettable experience.

Eigenanreise

Arrival by car

If you want to arrive by car yourself, you are very welcome to do so. First take the A8 from Munich and then the A93 from Rosenheim. At Kufstein you will cross the border to Austria. From there you follow the main roads until you arrive in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. From Munich you have about two and a half hours drive to our group accommodation Steinachhof. Usually the handover of the house takes place between 15 and 17 o'clock. If you want to make the handover at another time, you are kindly requested to contact us. We will try to make your desired time possible.

You can park your car directly at the house Lederer on our free car park. We also have space for your bus by prior arrangement.

Arrival by public means of transport

For those of you who don't feel like driving for hours, it is also possible to travel by public transport. An ICE train will take you to the main station in Munich. From there, you have various options. For example, choose a railjet xpress to Salzburg Central Station, which you can reach in about 90 minutes. From there, an S-Bahn will take you to Maishofen-Saalbach. The journey will take another two hours.

Once you have arrived there, it is best to change to the regional bus 680, which leaves from the bus stop Maishofen Ortsmitte. After about 30 minutes you get off at the Steinachbrücke stop in Saalbach. Now walk down the street for about 200 m, take a right into Altachweg, follow this street for about 400 m and you will our accommodation on the right!
