Sportclub Waldschlössli (Standard)

The Sportclub Waldschlössli is located in the district of Davos-Platz a little above and thus offers a fantastic view of Davos and the surrounding mountains. The ski bus stops about 250m below the accommodation and takes you in a few minutes to the nearest ski areas Parsenn and Jakobshorn. Thanks to the central location, the village centre with its numerous shopping, leisure and party facilities is within easy reach.

Ausstattung

The Sportclub Waldschlössli has a large lounge with table football, a pool table and table tennis. The Sportclub also has its own club where you can party 2-3 days a week. Usually there is also a mulled wine drink-up once a week.

All those who like it a little quieter can relax in the small sauna or enjoy the setting sun over Davos on the balconies. For your winter sports equipment there are three ski cellars available, two of which are also equipped with boot heating. An E&P own ski and snowboard rental is located directly in the house.

There is no parking space at the house. You can book an inexpensive parking space at the Rinerhorn, which is about 8 km away, through us. The house is not barrier-free/handicapped accessible and falls under the category "standard".

The Sportclub Waldschlössli offers space for up to about 150 people.

For single bookings the category "bed in shared room" can be booked.

To the rooms

The rooms with 2 beds are mostly two single beds or one bunk bed. The large rooms are all equipped with bunk beds. The minimum occupancy is always the number of "normal" beds, in addition to that there are pull-out beds (to roll out under the bunk bed).

All rooms with own shower/WC have a balcony, the rooms with on-floor showers are only partly equipped with a balcony.

Davos local tax: The local tax is 4.20 CHF per night and is automatically calculated when booking. The local tax includes the guest card (use of public transport, Davos Inside guest programme, use of the cross-country ski trails and ice rink as well as other reductions)

Please bring your own bed linen and towels. Optionally, bed linen can be booked additionally.

With a total of about 150 beds, the Sportclub Waldschlössli is our largest accommodation with enough room for various smaller and larger groups. Thanks to the many recreational areas and several floors, it is possible for a number of groups to share the house and still have their own space. Furthermore, if desired, every group can have their own dining area. Later in the evening, the club invites all groups to come together and celebrate.

Due to the good location of the accommodation, you can easily make use of the whole extensive ski pass “Davos-Klosters” during your stay. Our team on site will take care of your entertainment and provide a diverse program for the week. There is always the possibility that you contribute to the organization of activities and we are happy to take your individual expectations into account. Of course, you can also follow your own autonomous program of activities.

Verpflegung

Our team is also there to take care of your meals. In the morning, there will be a rich breakfast buffet. In the evening, we prepare a 2-3 course dinner. In addition to that, you will have the possibility to prepare "do it yourself lunch packages" that you can take with you on your skiing day (without drinks). Low priced drinks can be purchased easily: The accommodation has several self-service fridges that are always filled with cold drinks.

The kitchen remains closed on one night. For this night, we plan an external dinner (at your own expenses).

Booking Process

We are happy to take care of the whole booking process of your group trip. This means that we set up a separate booking link for your group where every participant can easily enter all the required information (age, paying method etc.) and comfortably book the trip autonomously. Everything else then runs via E&P Reisen and the organizer does not have to deal with collecting money, keeping lists, transfers or cancellations. This way, we can keep your ski holidays in the group totally stress-free.

Skipass, Kurse, Leihmaterial

In Davos, our offers normally include the 6 day ski pass “Davos-Klosters” which is valid from Sunday to Friday in the whole area. The value of the pass lies at around 330 €.

Davos

The town of Davos is situated at an altitude of 1,560m in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, close to the German border. It is the highest-altitude village in Europe and offers a lot of variety besides fun on the slopes.

Party

Please be aware that due to Corona there are still restrictions at the moment!

Bolgenplaza, right at the foot of the Jakobshorn, is the number one meeting place after a skiing day. Here you have beach chairs, deck chairs and a great atmosphere besides the perfect view on the halfpipe. In the evening, the Chämi and La Onda bars invite you for a few drinks, and at a later hour you can go to the Bolgenschanze, the Rotliechtli or the Cava. There you can celebrate until the early hours with hip music and good drinks.

Freizeitangebot

The alpine metropolis Davos has all the advantages of a small town to offer, not only skiing or snowboarding, but also many other activities. If you are looking for pure action, Davos is just as much your cup of tea as it is for those who like a more relaxed experience.

More sportive activities on site

Anyone who, in addition to skiing, would like to enjoy activities in the warmth will definitely find what they are looking for in Davos. The Färbi sports hall offers a climbing wall as well as tennis and squash courts. Davos also has an indoor riding hall and a bowling centre.

For those who can't get enough of snow and ice, they can let off steam on the sleeding run or admire the mountain panorama while skating on the largest natural ice rink in the world.

Activities to relax

You prefer to take it easy after a hard day on the slopes? No problem at all. Enjoy the afternoon in the wellness and adventure bath in Davos or end the evening in trendy cafés or cosy local restaurants.

Davos Klosters

The ski areas of the Davos Klosters Mountains are rightfully considered among the best in the Swiss Alps. They are absolutely snow-sure from November to the end of April. With a wide range of long downhill runs, numerous variations and pistes of every level of difficulty, everyone is guaranteed to get their money's worth. Around 300 kilometres of pistes are at your full disposal to let off steam.

The 57 lifts consist mainly of modern chair lifts, gondolas and cable cars. The absolute highlight is the cable car from Davos Dorf up to Parsenn. But nostalgics will also find one or the other T-bar lift.

If you want to take a break between the runs, you can make yourself comfortable in one of the inviting huts along the slopes.

Davos is known as a trendy ski resort not at least because of its various freeride slopes. The "Jatz" park also plays its part in this.

Skipass Davos Klosters

The two towns of Davos and Klosters open up five partial ski areas for your skiing holiday, which are fully connected by bus and train. It includes:

Parsenn: The largest and most extensive area with access from Davos and Klosters
Jakobshorn: The trend area with a fun park and large halfpipe
Madrisa: The varied area with long slopes
Rinerhorn: The hidden insider tip guaranteed without being seen
Pischa: The freeride area completely without preparation

Beginner

The Jakobshorn ski area is best suited for absolute beginners. With its beginners' lift, it offers good conditions for learning snow sports.

Snowparks

The "Jatz Park" on the Jakobshorn offers you short, intense Runs in a compact and perfectly shaped park in the Davos ski area. The snowpark has three lines. Due to its 2,300m altitude and thanks to modern snowmaking, the Jatz Park in the Davos ski area offers a long "shred" winter.

Freeriding

On the one hand, you will find many freeride slopes in Parsenn, but you can also let off steam off-piste in the Jakobshorn ski area. The highlight for all freeride lovers is the Pischa ski area, because there are no slopes prepared in this area.

As a day tour for freeriding you can choose the big loop from the Weißfluh summit via Langwies and further to Arosa, Tschiertschen to Lenzerheide.

Aktuelles Davos Klosters

The mountain railways in Davos Klosters invested heavily in snow-making equipment. In fact, about 80% of the ski areas are now covered with artificial snow.

Eigenanreise

Arrival by car

You can easily get to Davos by car. Take the A13 to Landquart, from there it will take you about 40 minutes to the centre of Davos. If you want to arrive by yourself, please pay attention to our check-in times (usually from 15 to 17 o'clock). If you wish to arrive at a different time, please contact us in advance.

At our Sportclub Schweizerhaus, Spinabad and Waldschlössli you can book a parking spot for your car or bus in advance. The parking spaces are located directly at our house or at the valley station of the Rinerhorn. Neither the Schwendi nor the Weissfluh are reachable by car. You will have to park your car, as well as your own bus, in a public car park in the valley for a charge.

To get to the Sportclub Weissfluh, it is best to park at the Parsenn-Bahn. This cable car will then take you directly to the Sportclub on the summit. You can also easily transport your luggage by the cable car to the top.

To reach the Schwendi, take the ski bus from the car park to the gondola, already in full gear. This gondola will take you to the top of the mountain, where you only have to ski down the red slope. And then you are already there! Non-skiers can only get to our accommodation by taking the Gotschna taxi (not included). We can shuttle your luggage up to the House for a fee. Just bring it to our Schweizerhaus, from there we will transport it via the access road to the Sportclub. Please be aware that the access road is closed during the day as it runs directly through the ski area. Therefore we ask you to be at the meeting point at 8:30 am at the latest. If you are travelling with your own bus, it is no problem either. In general, the same regulations apply as described above. For further details feel free to contact us.

Arrival by public means of transport

All our houses in Davos as well as in Klosters are easily reachable by public transport. A regional train of the Swiss Federal Railways departs from the Zurich main station to Landquart. Until then you will be on the way for about one hour. From the station in Landquart it is only an hour by train to the centre of Davos on the Rhätische Bahn. The main station is called Davos Platz.

On site in Davos there is an extensive bus network at your disposal. The bus stops in Klosters near our group accommodation Schweizerhaus. Get off at the station Klosters Dorf and you have almost arrived at your destination. Also the train stops in Klosters opposite to our house.

You can reach the Waldschlössli by bus as well. Get off the stop Davos Platz, Kongresszentrum. The ride from Davos Platz station takes about 10 minutes.

Our sports club Spinabad is located 300 metres from Davos Glaris railway station.

By the way, bus and train in Davos and Klosters can be used for free with the Davos Klosters guest card!
