Sportclub Klein Tirol - English (Komfort)

The Sportclub Klein Tirol is located in the idyllic ski resort of Vandans in Montafon, Austria. The quaint house is quietly situated at the edge of the forest, at the end of a ski route from Golm, which will take you to the house if the snow conditions are very good.

From Vandans you can easily start with your car to the respective skiing areas. The centre of Schruns is only a 10 minute drive away and St. Gallenkirch is only 15 minutes away by car.

Ausstattung

The Sportclub Klein Tirol convinces above all with its beautiful rooms. For dinner you can make yourself comfortable in the rustic, wood-panelled dining room.

After skiing you can meet for a drink at the rustic self-service bar or relax in the in-house sauna. Once a week, our legendary E&P mulled wine drink-up takes place in front of the Sportclub. In addition, the Klein Tirol also offers a lounge with table football, billiards and table tennis. Here you can also celebrate one or more epic parties!

A ski cellar is available for your winter sports equipment. You can book rental equipment with us and pick it up in our partner sports shop in Schruns.

There is a large number of parking spaces at the house that you can book. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in the reception area. The house is not barrier-free/handicapped accessible and falls under the category "comfort".

Most of the double rooms have a double bed, there is one double room with two single beds and one double room with a French bed.

All rooms have a private bathroom and almost all rooms also have a balcony.

Montafon local tax: 1,90 € per night, the local tax is automatically calculated at the time of booking. This is a mandatory tax to the commune Schruns-Tschagguns.

Our group accommodation Klein Tirol in Austria comfortably accommodates about 70 people in 26 rooms. The rooms are all equipped with private bathrooms and most of them have access to a balcony. This house is especially popular due to the high number of double rooms, the in-house sauna and the infrared cabin that allow you to unwind after a long day on the slopes.

Out team on-site is always available for questions and is responsible for organizing smaller activities for your group. If desired, we can develop an individual program for the whole week that matches your expectations.

Verpflegung

Our team is also there to take care of your meals. In the morning, there will be a rich breakfast buffet. In the evening, we prepare a 2-3 course dinner. In addition to that, you will have the possibility to prepare "DIY lunch packages" that you can take with you on your skiing day (without drinks).

In order to enjoy the perfect cottage feeling, you can optionally book full board with assistance. Assistance means that you support our chef with preparing the meals and doing the dishes. Our team is still responsible for doing the grocery shopping and structuring the preparations so your skiing day is not affected.

The kitchen remains closed on one night. For this night, we plan an external dinner (at your own expenses). The group can do a torchlight hike to the restaurant cottage and return at their own pace after a copious dinner.

Booking process

We are happy to take care of the whole booking process of your group trip. This means that we set up a separate booking link for your group where every participant can easily enter all the required information (age, paying method etc.) and comfortably book the trip autonomously. Everything else then runs via E&P Reisen and the organiser does not have to deal with collecting money, keeping lists, transfers or cancellations. This way, we can keep your ski holidays as a group totally stress-free.

Skipass, Kurse, Leihmaterial

In the skiing area Montafon, you can choose between 2 different ski passes. Normally, you receive a 6 day ski pass for the subarea of “Silvretta Montafon” which is valid from Sunday to Friday. The value of the pass lies at around 252 €. For a surcharge, you can upgrade to the more extensive ski pass “Montafon Brandnertal”.

“Silvretta Montafon”: this ski pass is normally included in your package. From Schruns, you can directly enter the large skiing area Silvretta Montafon with the Hochjoch or Zamang gondola. The Hochjoch area has been merged with the Nova ski area above St. Gallenkirch and offers variety, for experts and beginners alike.
“Montafon-Brandnertal” incl. Golm: With the ski pass "Montafon-Brandnertal" you can use all subareas. The Golm ski area, which is only 1.5 km from the E&P Sportclub Klein Tirol, as well as the Brandnertal and Gargellen are also included. This extension is worthwhile for all sporty skiers and is especially recommended if you are looking for daily changing challenges. The E&P private ski bus (if included in the trip, otherwise bookable) takes you to the various ski areas, even to areas where you need the Montafon-Brandnertal ski pass.

Vandans

The ski resort Vandans is located in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg and is surrounded by the impressive mountain panorama of the Vandanser Steinwand in the Montafon. The rural charm promises a cosy skiing holiday. The next largest town is Schruns, where you can find cafés, attractive shops, various restaurants and also some first après-ski bars in the winding alleys.

Party

Please be aware that due to Corona there are still restrictions at the moment!

If you want to start your après-ski after skiing on the slopes, the "Brunellawirt" is the right place for you. You can also enjoy your drinks at the "Ur-Monti" in Schruns or the "Heuboda" in Brand with good music. In Vandans, people like to party in the "Rodelbude" umbrella bar at the Golm valley station.

In Vandans you can experience so much more than just skiing. What would you like to do? Would you prefer a little more action or relaxation?

More sportive activities

Action lovers can fly over the Latschau reservoir with the Flying Fox or whizz down the toboggan run for an adrenalin-filled ride to Vandans.

The absolute highlight in the region is the Alpine Coaster Golm. Here you can race at up to 40 km/h through the 360° roundabout and over the 44 spectacular jumps into the valley. The Alpine Coaster is opened in almost any weather and guarantees pure adrenalin!

Activities to relax

Those who prefer to spend the ski-free time relaxing can enjoy Austrian cuisine in one of the restaurants, stroll through the village centre of Schruns or end the evening in one of the many bars. The Alpine spa Val Blu in Bludenz offers a large wellness area.

Montafon

The ski pass "Montafon-Brandnertal Card" includes the partner ski area Brandnertal and is therefore one of the ten largest ski areas in Austria. You can expect a total of 79 lifts with 297 km of perfectly groomed slopes, where everyone can let off steam. The entire ski alliance consists of five individual ski areas, all of which are also worthwhile on a daily basis.

During your eventful day of skiing or snowboarding there are many beautiful huts directly on the slopes, where you can take a short break and relax in between.

Freeriders will also get their money's worth in Montafon. Over 70 free-ride routes are available for pure fun on the slopes. There is something for every level of difficulty, whether beginner or professional.

Skipass Montafon

We offer you the choice between two different ski passes, the ski pass "Silvretta-Montafon" and the bigger ski pass "Montafon Brandnertal".

Ski pass „Silvretta-Montafon“

The ski pass to the large main ski area "Silvretta-Montafon" is already included in the price of the trip. It contains 37 lifts with about 140 km of slopes in the areas around Hochjoch and Nova. The ski area which can be used with this pass is the largest of the 5 individual areas, where you can let off steam on the many pistes of all degrees of difficulty.

Ski pass „Montafon Brandnertal“

If you choose the big ski pass "Montafon Brandnertal", you can also use the individual areas Golm, Gargellen and Brandnertal. With this pass you have access to the full 289 kilometres of slopes, which will certainly be a delight for every winter sports enthusiast.

Golm is a small, family friendly ski area, which is located right on the doorstep of our Sportclub in Vandans.

In Gargellen you can look forward to fantastic slopes with lots of natural snow and enjoy the fantastic routes and variations.

Our insider tip: the Brandnertal offers numerous forest runs and is perfect for every winter sports fan.

Beginner

Beginners will find easy practice slopes at the top of the Zamang gondola in the Silvretta-Montafon ski area to gain their first experience in the snow. In winter there is also a small practice lift for newcomers at the valley station of the Golm in Vandans.

Snowparks

In the region of Montafon various snowparks await you, of which the "Snowpark Montafon" at the Fredakopf is the biggest, with plenty of kickers, wallrides boxes and rails.

Freeriden

Freeride newcomers will find many power slopes and ski routes with easy access in Nova Valley. Absolute cracks get their money's worth on the "Black Scorpions" with seven extremely steep variants. Thanks to the Open Faces Freeride Contest and the Freeride World Tour, Montafon enjoys a high profile in this sector.

Aktuelles Montafon

In the Montafon, investments are regularly made in innovations. Expansion of Valsera I and II is currently being planned.

From the winter season 20/21, a new downhill run awaits you! Go wild on the 7.5 km and 1,000 m of the Gaschurn valley run. Once you've reached the bottom, it's a great place to take a break and have a refreshing drink.

Eigenanreise

Arrival by car

If you prefer to travel by car yourself, you can do so without any problems. The easiest way to get to Vandans is via the A14 from Bregenz. The journey takes just under an hour. Please bear in mind that at the Sportclub Klein Tirol check-in is only possible from 15 to 17 o'clock. If you want to check in at a different time, please do not hesitate to contact us.

At the house you will find limited parking spaces, which can be reserved through us in advance.

It is also no problem if you want to arrive with your own bus. On request, we can provide you with a parking spot.

Arrival by public means of transport

Travel by public transport is possible as well. The best way to get to Vandans is to take the RegionalExpress from Lindau main station to Bludenz. After about an hour‘s journey, take another train to the village of Vandans. With this train you will reach your destination in about 10 minutes. From the station in Vandans a bus will take you to a bus stop near our Sportclub in about 5 minutes. From there it is only a short walk until you get to our Sportclub Klein Tirol.
